About NIPMUCSPOHKE

Our Goals:

Increased communication between the Nipmuc tribal government and tribal members

Increased communication and interaction among tribal members

Increased awareness of Nipmuc language, culture and traditions

Assistance in Nipmuc genealogical (family tree) research

Assistance in planning reunions for Nipmuc family groups

Years ago, our beloved elder, Spotted Eagle, gave us the term "nipmucspohke."  Translated, it means "Nipmucs about the land" or "Nipmuc people everywhere."  Nipmucspohke, a tribal newsletter of the Nipmuc Nation, was created to help Nipmucs everywhere stay informed of tribal issues and events.  It is Nipmucspohke's hope to bring all Nipmucs together and make our Circle strong.
